Unsettled start to the week
The upper-level flow shifts to the northwest, and with a cold front, air masses of polar origin reach the Alps. Monday starts dull and wet. Over the course of the day, a northerly föhn will dry out the air and in some areas the clouds may break up a bit. In the evening, a few more showers will move in from the north. At the same time, with gusty strengthening winds, the snow line will drop to around 1000 m. Temperatures will reach highs from 8°C in Bruneck to 14°C in Bozen.

As the day progresses, the onset of a northerly föhn will bring drier intervals and brief bright spells. Toward evening, a cold front and gusty northwesterly winds will bring another round of snow showers, with the snow line dropping to around 1000 m.
