Our idyllic high alpine village of Riva di Tures is located at an altitude of 1,600 m in a small side valley of the Valle Aurina, nestled between the majestic Rieserferner group and the Dureck group.

Here you can still find numerous alpine pastures where the alpine economy is in full swing. In June, the cattle are driven up to the alpine pastures and brought back to the village decorated in autumn. Our small livestock spend the summer on the picturesque Bacher Alm.

Spring
Spring is the season when nature awakens and unfolds its full beauty. The white winter splendor has withdrawn and made way for crocuses, gentians and many other spring bloomers who welcome spring with their bright colors. The animals awake from their winter sleep and stretch their tired limbs. A breathtaking spectacle is the Alpine rose bloom, during which the mountain slopes are immersed in a sea of pink blossoms.
Summer
Summer is undoubtedly the perfect season for all hiking enthusiasts. Our farm is the ideal starting point for numerous hikes through the picturesque Nature Park "Rieserferner-Ahrn". Here you will find a unique hiking area with majestic three-thousanders, sparkling mountain lakes, impressive waterfalls, babbling brooks, shady forests and idyllic alpine pastures. During your hikes, you will find many cozy rest stops at friendly hut landlords and can also find yourself.
Autumn
In autumn, nature undergoes a miraculous transformation and prepares for the impending winter sleep. The dairymen close their alpine huts and bring the cattle back to the valley. In our village, the alpine drive, a centuries-old tradition, is celebrated as a big autumn festival. Every two years, the farmers come together to present the decorated cattle in a magnificent parade.
Winter
Winter presents itself in its white splendor. Riva di Tures, our picturesque place, is the perfect place for your winter vacation. Whether you want to do your rounds on our 15 km long cross-country ski trail (only 1.5 km from our farm) or enjoy the descent at the beginner and family-friendly lift in the village (3.5 km from us) - a lot is offered on site. The Speikboden ski area (17 km), Klausberg (20 km) and Kronplatz (30 km) can also be easily reached by car or the free ski bus.
Right outside our front door, you can set off on unforgettable excursions with touring skis or snowshoes. Climb the Lenkstein, Parmerspitz or Fennegg and enjoy the breathtaking view. With rope and pick for ice climbing to the massive waterfalls like Ursprung and Tristen Waterfall and to the entrance to the Angerer Ice Wall. A cozy sledging trip to Knuttental provides a welcome change.
